after visiting the farm, my mom and i drove back to ohio where i spent a lazy week hanging out with my family and enjoying the advantages of suburban summertime life, like backyards, pools, grilling out, walking to Dairy Queen...
gertie got to spend lots of quality time with her cousins, sofie and phoebe...
we went to the drive-in and saw the Simpsons! it was sofie's first time and she got to experience the tradition of wearing her nightgown and getting carried from the car (while sound asleep) up to bed at the end of the night.
